How is On-page SEO going to help you?

Google and other search engines look at many signals when determining which sites to serve up for a person’s online search. On-page SEO is one of them and refers to both page content, as well as a site’s HTML source code. It’s important to take care of your ‘technical’ SEO prior to launching a search engine optimization campaign.

When search engines crawl your site’s pages, they need to understand what each page is about. Your page titles, image ‘alt text’ and URLs need to be based on the keywords that you want to be found for.

Google and the other search engines look at the content on your website’s pages and try to determine if that is what a person is searching for when they type words into the search bar. It’s important to make sure the search engines can easily understand what you page is about, without ‘stuffing’ the page with terms you’d like to be found for.

Like most aspects of your site, there needs to be research done to determine the best keywords to try and rank for with the search engines. These keywords should then be used in your website copy.

We do a deep website audit for each client to uncover all of the content and technical items that need to be addressed. We’ll provide you with an audit report and go over it with you, so that you can get a better understanding of some of the work that will need to be done.

3. Build a Plan

After finishing the keyword research and audit, we’ll build a plan that will include both short term and long term objectives. Our plan will be broken down into different phases and each phase will build upon the previous phase. Our goal is to get everything laid out in front of you, so that there will be no surprises. Building a plan will also help track our effectiveness and ROI.

4. Implement Changes

Pretty simple…. we get to work. From our research discovery, we’ll initially get started with the On-page SEO work. We’ll give you some options regarding the website and/or blog copy, as you may want to do some of this in-house.
